The Safeguard is a springless device designed for rigging and rescue. Basically the same as the Lifeguard Belay device but without the internal spring allowing it to lock onto the rope quickly, easily, and with very little force applied. Ideal for rigging and rescue tasks where it is essential that the rope does not creep or slide. Excellent as a progress capture in a pulley system, locking off easily, and released just as easy.
